The Commissioner General is the head of the authority. he is the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and is responsible for the daily management of the authority. He is appointed upon approval by the Senate, by Presidential Order, for a term of 5 years, renewable once. The Commissioner General is assisted by a Deputy Commissioner General.
