Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI) Scheme contributions

Community Based Health Insurance (Mutuelle de santé) is a solidarity health insurance system established in order to help people with low-income access medical care at affordable cost.

According to the Prime Minister’s Order N ° 034/01 of 13/01/2020 related to the community-based health insurance scheme subsidies, the CBHI contribution paid by an employee is zero point five percent (0.5%) of the net salary, deducted and paid by the employer.
