Apply for TCC
The application for TCC is done through E tax system and the only one re quirement needed is the following : Having no tax arrears. If you have tax arrears and attempt to re quest for a TCC, a message showing all tax arrears will pop up before the application can be sent. If you opt to move forward and submit your application without clearing the tax arrears, you will get a tax arrears statement instead of Tax Clearance Certificate .
The application fee for a TCC is 5 ,000 Rwandan Francs (Frw). This fee must be paid on the same day the application is submitted to maintain the date of issuance of the TCC .
Payment can be made using various methods provided by the RR A. Once the applicant submits his/her re quest, a payment stub containing the RRA Reference number is generated and must be paid through mobile money transfer (MoMo, Airtel Money), or Bank Transfer.
After submitting the TCC re quest, the system will automatically generate a payment stub. Once the payment is made, the TCC certificate is auto generated and can be downloaded from the taxpayer s portal on the RR A website.
